Deacs Inside Top-Five After 36 Holes in Texas

FORT WORTH, TEXAS - After two rounds at the Colonial Country Club, No. 9 Wake Forest women's golf is tied for fifth place with No. 3 Texas A&M and No. 31 Oklahoma State at the Charles Schwab Women's Collegiate Invitational, in Fort Worth, Texas.
Following a quiet front nine during the morning's round, the Deacs made their way up to sixth place at six over. Graduate student Morgan Ketchum sat at an even par in T7, with sophomore Chloe Kovelesky and junior Macy Pate T10 to round out the top-10.
Wake Forest continued to climb the ranks into the afternoon, with senior Anne-Sterre den Dunnen carding an even round two to push the Deacs forward. Ketchum joins den Dunnen in T20, while Pate sits just outside the top-10 in T11.
Through the two rounds, Kovelesky is tied with freshman Cartoon Rujiranan in T27, with both players at six over after 36 holes.
Final Round Tomorrow
The final round of play will begin at 10 a.m. ET. Wake Forest will be paired with No. 3 Texas A&M and No. 7 Oregon with live scoring available via Scoreboard.
