WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 15 Wake Forest football team returns to Winston-Salem on Saturday, Oct. 8 against Army in front of a sold out crowd inside Truist Field at 7:30 p.m. on the ACC Network's Regional Sports Networks.
After its 31-21 ranked road victory at Florida State last weekend, Truist Field at Wake Forest is set to host its fifth sellout crowd in six games dating back to last season.
After scoring 44 points in Week 1 vs. VMI, 45 points in Week 2 at Vanderbilt, 37 points in Week 3 vs. Liberty, 45 points in Week 4 vs. Clemson and 31 points in Week 5 at Florida State, Wake Forest's 202 total points ranks as the highest mark in program history through five games.
Saturday's win against No. 22 Florida State marked the Demon Deacons 10th-straight victory during the month of October. Additionally, Wake Forest went a perfect 4-0 during this month each of the last two years.
Prior to 2020, Wake Forest had not gone undefeated in the month of October since 2007.
Additionally, the Deacons have forced a turnover in 34 of their last 36 games dating back to Sept. 28, 2019. The only games without one vs. Clemson (9/24/22) & at Louisville (12/12/20).
Over the past seven seasons, Wake Forest has a combined +46 turnover margin.
