Mit Shah Set as Keynote Speaker for City of Winston-Salem

Join Greater Winston-Salem, Inc. for the State of the Economy presented by Wake Forest University.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest University is pleased to partner with Greater Winston-Salem, Inc. to present their upcoming State of the Economy luncheon, with keynote speaker Mit Shah ('91). Wake Forest head men's basketball coach Steve Forbes will introduce Shah at the event.
Mr. Shah is currently serving his fifth term on Wake Forest's Board of Trustees, where he is chair of the investment committee. Shah is CEO of Noble Investment Group and is a member of the owner boards for Marriott International and Hyatt Hotels Corporation.
Shah is uniquely positioned to offer analysis of Forsyth County's economic opportunities, talent pipeline, and more. Additional insights into Forsyth County's economy and Greater Winston-Salem, Inc.'s economic development initiatives will be presented by Mark Owens, Greater Winston-Salem, Inc. President and CEO.
The event will be Thursday, December 1, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Benton Convention Center in the Salem ballroom. Parking is available at the 6th Cherry and Trade Street parking garage.
