Demon Deacons Battle Aggies for Madison Square Garden Berth

Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's basketball team will face Texas A&M in the quarterfinals of the National Invitation Tournament on Wednesday, March 23 inside Reed Arena at 7 p.m.
Saturday's matchup will mark the second all-time meeting between the Demon Deacons (25-9, 13-7) and Aggies (25-12, 9-9 SEC), and the game will broadcast on ESPN2. Fans can follow along via the Demon Deacons Twitter and Instagram accounts (@WakeMBB).

Wake Forest is coming off another balanced offensive outing over Virginia Commonwealth in the second round on Saturday afternoon, in which five players finished in double figures in the team's program-record clinching 18th home victory of the season.
Alondes Williams led the way in scoring with 19 points on 6-of-13 shooting and six makes from the charity stripe. Williams also recorded four rebounds and five assists and needs just 13 points on Wednesday to surpass the 1,000-career point benchmark.
Dallas Walton put together his career-best fifth consecutive game in double figures, exiting with 16 points, seven rebounds and two steals on 5-of-6 shooting from the field and 4-of-4 from the line. Since the beginning of February, Walton has converted on 63.6 percent of his three-point attempts (14-of-22).
Jake LaRavia finished the contest third in scoring with 15 points on 5-of-11 shooting and 4-of-4 from the free throw line. LaRavia also hauled in six rebounds and contributed three assists and two steals.
Daivien Williamson tallied 14 points on 3-of-7 shooting from the field and 6-of-6 from the line in his final game of the year in his hometown arena, and Cameron Hildreth rounded out the group of double-digit scorers with 10 points to go along with five rebounds, three steals and two assists.
