Morra Ready for Next Step in Professional Basketball

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Former Wake Forest women's basketball player Christina Morra is ready to make the next step into professional basketball after an illustrious four-year career in Winston-Salem.
The graduating senior was a key piece in the Demon Deacons being postseason eligible the last three seasons. Recently, she was named as one of 88 players in the WNBA Draft pool for the upcoming 2022 draft which is set for Monday, April 11.
Morra took her first step towards becoming a professional this last week in Minnesota.
During Final Four week in Minneapolis, Minn., Morra took part in the 2022 ProHoops Combine featuring some of the best players from around the country all competing together. Morra was one of 70 graduating seniors to receive an invite to the event. After performing well throughout the event, Morra was chosen to the ProHoops Combine Top 30, earning a spot in the All-Star game.
Morra was one of just two ACC players at the event to be chosen to the ProHoops Combine Top 30.
