Sophomore defender Kristin Johnson played the full 90 minutes for the fourth match in a row and is the only Demon Deacon to play every minute this season. Zara Chavoshi, Laurel Ansbrow and Tyla Ochoa, who made up the rest of the backline, also played the full 90 for the second match in a row.
The Deacs return to action Thursday when they travel to face High Point at 4 p.m.
How It Happened
Demon Deacon Details of Note
Tony Time with Coach da Luz
"We had to defend a lot of set pieces. That's what that team thrives on–putting the ball in your box. We prepared and made them aware of that. KP [Kaitlyn Parks] and our back four did a really good job dealing with first and second balls. They have a lot of size and are older. I think the result was fair. We had our chances, but it wasn't our day." - Tony da Luz
