The Demon Deacons and Blue Devils will meet for the 50th time and the first meeting between the two at Spry Stadium since 2018.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The No. 1 ranked Wake Forest men's soccer team will return to Spry Stadium on Saturday night to host No. 4 Duke in a Big Four matchup between the two highest ranked ACC teams.
Kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the match will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.

Ticket Information
2022 Wake Forest soccer season tickets are on-sale now giving fans the opportunity to witness The Best Fan Experience In North Carolina from a number of unique seating options. Season tickets start as low as $45 and offer as much as a $220 savings off of purchasing individual single game tickets.
New to the ticketing menu this year are five and 10 game FLEX options, giving fans maximum flexibility when choosing which home games to attend. FLEX season ticket members will simply open their digital FLEX account, and add or remove games as they decide which dates they are available to attend. Members may even use multiple admissions for a single game to bring a friend, family member or guest with them. If more FLEX tickets are needed, additional admissions may be purchased through the Wake Forest Ticket Office. FLEX admissions are able to be used for redemption at both men's and women's soccer games.

The Matchup

The No. 1 ranked Wake Forest Demon Deacons will enter the match with a 9-0-0 record while No. 4 Duke is 6-0-2 through the Blue Devils' first eight matches of the season.

Wake Forest and Duke are two of only 10 teams remaining that have not lost this season, while the Demon Deacons are the only team that has yet to suffer either a defeat or tie out of 212 Division I programs.

The Deacs are 3-0-0 in ACC play so far this season, scoring victories over NC State, Virginia Tech and Clemson while Duke is 2-0-1 in conference action with victories over Louisville and Boston College along with a draw against North Carolina.

Wake Forest currently leads the Atlantic Division with nine points while Duke leads the Coastal Division with seven points.

The matchup will be the 50th all-time between the Deacs and Blue Devils and the first at Spry Stadium since Sept. 29, 2018.

Wake Forest faced its first top-10 foe of the season, downing then-No. 10 Clemson 6-1 on Saturday night at Historic Riggs Field.

Six different Demon Deacons scored against the Tigers: freshman Vlad Walent, sophomores Leo Guarino and Baba Niang and juniors Hosei Kijima, Chase Oliver and Oscar Sears. It marked the second time in as many matches that six different Wake Forest players scored, as the Deacs defeated George Mason 6-1 on Sept. 20.

Wake Forest will be seeking its 90th victory at Spry Stadium since the start of the 2015 season, as the Deacs' 89 victories on home soil is most in the country over the last eight seasons.

The 89 home victories since the start of the 2015 season are 20 more home victories than any other NCAA Men's Soccer Division I program.

The Deacs have won their last 13 matches at Spry, setting a new program record for consecutive home victories.

Scouting The Blue Devils

Duke has been one of the stoutest defensive teams in the country this season, allowing just three goals in eight matches. The Blue Devils are tied for second nationally in average goals against per game (.375) while logging five shutouts.

Eleven different Blue Devils have registered a goal this season, led by Mohammed Shakur's four goals. Nick Pariano, meanwhile, is tied for second in the conference in assists with five.
