Rachel Kuehn scored the Deacs' first point during the championship against Texas. Kuehn took a one stroke lead on No. 1. After a streak of halved holes, Kuehn broke away with wins on No. 6, 7 and 8. Kuehn secured the victory on No. 14. The Asheville native tied it up for the Deacs winning her match 5&4.
