Deacs to Host Wake Forest Invitational

The tournament will mark the Demon Deacons’ last event of the fall.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest men's tennis team will compete for the final time this fall when the Demon Deacons host the Wake Forest Invitational this weekend at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.
The tournament is slated to run from Friday, Nov. 3 to Sunday, Nov. 5. Action will begin at 9 a.m. each day.

Teams Participating: Wake Forest, Furman, South Carolina, Princeton, VCU Old Dominion, Duke, Virginia, Auburn, James Madison, Shenandoah, Tennessee Tech, NC A&T, Davidson, Georgia Southern, Radford, Campbell, Richmond, UNC Asheville, UNC Greensboro, UNC Charlotte, Cleveland State and North Carolina

Wake Forest concluded play at the 2023 ITA Carolina Regional last week.
Overall, the Deacs went 30-9 as a team in singles play and 11-5 in doubles action. Additionally, four of the eight singles quarter finalists were Demon Deacons.

In the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Preseason Rankings, Wake Forest has three singles players and two doubles pairs ranked.
