Anna Bush notched 5.77m in the women's long jump and finished in seventh. It was the eighth-best jump in school history. The graduate student has now recorded top-10 performances in school history on back-to-back days, as she clocked the sixth-best (14.16) 100m hurdles time Friday. Of note, Robbie Grace (5.63m) earned a 14th-place finish in the event.
For the second-consecutive weekend, Sophie Perez Gonzalez threw the second-best hammer throw in program history. The freshman finished with a 56.75m, nearly a two-meter improvement from her performance in High Point last weekend, and earned 11th-place. Katrina Andreassen (54.14m) also recorded a top-five hammer throw in program history and finished 20th.
Following a record-setting weekend for Leia Braunagel in High Point, the graduate student recorded 52.53m in the women's discus and earned a fourth-place finish Friday. She now owns the top-two throws in program history. Of note, Ashlyn Giles threw 45.04m and finished 15th.
