Demon Deacons Set for Notre Dame Matchup in Second Round of 2023 ACC Tennis Championships

Postseason time has arrived for the Deacs.
CARY, N.C. – Wake Forest women's tennis learned initial details of its journey into the 2023 spring postseason on Sunday evening (April 16), as the Demon Deacons were tabbed as the No. 9 seed in the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Tennis Championships. Earning a first-round bye, the team is set to face No. 8-seeded Notre Dame on Thursday morning (April 21) at 10 a.m. ET in the second round.
All matches within the tournament will be held at the Cary Tennis Center in Cary, North Carolina.
Wake Forest finished the 2023 regular season with a 16-12 overall record, including a 5-8 clip against conference foes. The Deacs most recently split contests versus nationally-ranked Virginia and North Carolina A&T during a regular-season finale doubleheader.
The Event
Action in the conference tournament gets underway on Wednesday (April 19) for opponents within the first round. A total of eight matchups are slated to take place Thursday through Friday (April 20-21) before Saturday (April 22) features the semifinal round. A 10 a.m. ET championship will headline Sunday (April 23).
Single day tickets are priced at $10 for adults (ages 18 and older; children under 9 and ACC students get in free with school ID) and $7 for youth ages 17 and under.
