WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The top-ranked Wake Forest women's golf team has been selected as the No. 1 seed at the Raleigh, North Carolina NCAA Regional May 8-10.
Other teams headed to Raleigh include ACC opponent Florida State and fellow top 26 teams in Arizona State, Florida and Arizona. Eight-seed and Big Four foe NC State will serve as host of the regional at NC State's Lonnie Poole Golf Course.
The stunning layout was designed by Arnold Palmer and the design team at Arnold Palmer Design Company. Along with being the home venue for the NC State men's and women's teams, Lonnie Poole serves as a teaching and training facility for the Professional Golf Management (PGM) Program in the College of Natural Resources. With breathtaking views of the Raleigh skyline, the course has become a favorite in the golf community.
