- Women's Basketball:
- Wake Forest is coming off a tightly-contested battle with No. 19 Notre Dame Sunday.
- Redshirt sophomore forward Malaya Cowles had another efficient showing, posting a team-high 13 points and making all but one of her field goal attempts (6-of-7). The Wilkesboro, N.C., native has now scored 12 or more points in three of her last four appearances.
- Her single-season field goal percentage is one of the highest in program history, ranking sixth:

- Her single-season field goal percentage is one of the highest in program history, ranking sixth:
- Junior guard Alyssa Andrews finished with double-figures in scoring as well, totaling 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting (66.7 percent). Sunday included her highest point total versus a conference opponent thus far in 2023-24 and third double-figure game overall.
- In conference play, Andrews leads the Demon Deacons in three-point percentage (50.0 percent) while also ranking second in shooting percentage (52.2 percent).
- The Demon Deacons will be off for a week before returning to the court on Jan. 28 when Wake Forest travels to Clemson for the first of two matchups against the Tigers this season. The 6:00 p.m. tipoff at Littlejohn Coliseum can also be seen on ACC Network.

- Wake Forest opened match play on Sunday, splitting the double-header against Tennessee and Bellarmine.
- With the 4-0 win over Bellarmine, head coach Jeff Wyshner earned his 350th career win as a head coach.
- Freshman Sankavi Gownder earned her first-career win over a ranked opponent in her first-ever duals match as she took down No. 100 Eleonora Molinaro of Tennessee.
- The Demon Deacons will now head to Gainesville, Fla. for the ITA Kick-Off Weekend. Action will begin on Saturday (Jan. 27) against San Diego.
- Wake Forest opened match play on Sunday, splitting the double-header against Tennessee and Bellarmine.
- Track & Field/Cross Country:
- The indoor campaign continued for the Deacs this past weekend at the Hokie Invitational. During the event, Robbie Grace and Amanda Schaare both claimed podium finishes in their respective events.
- Women's Long Jump: 2nd - Robbie Grace - 6.09m, personal-best and third-best all-time for Wake Forest Indoor Long Jump
- Women's Shot Put: 3rd - Amanda Schaare - 15.27m, season-best and fifth-best all-time for Wake Forest Indoor Shot Put
- The Deacs this weekend are set to compete in the Bob Pollock Invitational at Clemson and the Camel City Invitational (Jan. 26-27) in Winston-Salem.
