Wake Forest Claimed 13 Podiums Between the Bob Pollock and Camel City Invitationals

The Demon Deacons finished the weekend with five first place finishes.
CLEMSON, S.C. - The Wake Forest men's and women's indoor track and field teams ended their weekend at the Bob Pollock and Camel City Invitationals. The Demon Deacons concluded the weekend's events with 13 podium finishes.
On Saturday, the Deacs continued their success with a first place finish from Dillon Aryeh in the men's 800m. Aryeh finished the 800m with a personal best time of 1:51.14. Next, Thomas Kitchell secured his sixth podium finish of the indoor season. Kitchell recorded a 19.11m throw to finish first place in the shot put.
Paul Specht, Charlie Sprott and Weber Long all finished in the top-five in the men's 3000m invitational. Specht came in first, running a 7:59.37, a personal best and the sixth best time at Wake Forest. Next, Sprott also secured a personal best with a time of 8:04.60 and fourth place finish. Finally Long came in fifth, running a 8:06.01
Emma Douglass finished second in the women's 800m invitational at Clemson. Douglass ran a 2:07.54, the fourth best time in program history. On the men's side, Rynard Swanepoel finished second with a 1:49.27 and Jack Balick finished third with a personal best time of 1:49.69.
In the women's 3000m, Madeline Rehm secured a second place finish. She recorded a personal best time of 9:44.77. Finally, Leia Braunagel added a second place finish to the Deacs' effort this weekend. Braunagel recorded a 14.48m throw in the shot put at the Camel City Invitational.

The Darius Dixon Invitational will be held from February 9th and 10th. The David Hemery Valentine Invitational and Eagle Elite Invitationals will both be held on Saturday, February 10.
