- Women's Soccer:
- Currently on a five-match unbeaten streak, with three wins over top-10 teams during that span, the Wake Forest women's soccer team is set to return to action this Saturday as it takes on SMU in Dallas at 7 p.m. central time.
- The Deacs currently sit fourth in the ACC standings and were ranked third in the United Soccer Coaches Poll released last week.
- Currently on a five-match unbeaten streak, with three wins over top-10 teams during that span, the Wake Forest women's soccer team is set to return to action this Saturday as it takes on SMU in Dallas at 7 p.m. central time.
- Field Hockey:
- Coming off of a thrilling double overtime victory over Louisville on Sunday, the Demon Deacons are on the road for a pair of matches this week.
- Wake Forest stays in conference action with a road trip to take on No. 1 North Carolina on Friday, Oct. 18 at 6 p.m. on the ACC Network.
- The Deacs close non-conference action for the season with a trip to James Madison on Sunday, Oct. 20 on ESPN+. First touch against the Dukes is set for 1 p.m.
- Volleyball:
- The Deacs are primed to start a two-week road stretch, beginning with out-of-state visits to No. 4 Louisville (Oct. 18) and Notre Dame (Oct. 20) this weekend.
- Friday's matchup versus the Cardinals will be Wake Forest's second test of the fall versus a nationally-ranked opponent.
- The Demon Deacons (10-7, 2-4) are coming off their first Big Four weekend this season, having hosted Duke and North Carolina inside Varsity Arena.
- Wake Forest currently has four individuals holding spots in the ACC top-10 categories, as sophomore middle blocker Dior Charles recently slid into the section for blocks:
- Tina Grkovic – 7th in blocks (1.27/set)
- Dior Charles – 9th in blocks (1.21/set)
- Paige Crawford – 9th in service aces (27 total)
- Emma Farrell – 9th in digs (3.70/set)

- Cross Country:
- Following a first-place team finish at the Royals XC Challenge, the Wake Forest women's cross country team saw Grace Wassell named ACC Performer of the Week.
- The sophomore delivered an impressive fourth-place individual finish in Charlotte, shattering her previous 5k personal-best by clocking an outstanding 17:17.01 and leading the Demon Deacons to a first-place team finish.
- The Demon Deacons also featured graduate student Rylan Engels (17:23.4) and junior Emma Douglass (17:26.5.) who carried out eighth and ninth-place finishes.
- Following a first-place team finish at the Royals XC Challenge, the Wake Forest women's cross country team saw Grace Wassell named ACC Performer of the Week.
- Women's Golf:
- The No. 7 Wake Forest women's golf team is coming off a second place finish at the Ruth's Chris Intercollegiate over the weekend, hosted by North Carolina and played at Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill.
- Along with the team's second place finish, senior Carolina Chacarra had her best finish of the season so far, coming in second place as well.
- The Deacs' next event is defending their title at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup, to be played at Oklahoma City Country Club, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, October 21-23.
- The No. 7 Wake Forest women's golf team is coming off a second place finish at the Ruth's Chris Intercollegiate over the weekend, hosted by North Carolina and played at Finley Golf Club in Chapel Hill.
- Women's Basketball:
- The Demon Deacons are less than three weeks away from Open Night at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Monday Nov. 4 against in-state Queens.
- In addition to season tickets that include all 17 home games, fans can also purchase single-game tickets for all games for the 2024-25 season as well as the 4-packs which are back by popular demand.
- In the ramp up to the third season of the Megan Gebbia era, last week Coach Gebbia along with Demeara Hinds and Elise Williams traveled to Charlotte for ACC Tipoff to preview the upcoming season.
- Their day included interviews and live segments on ACC Network, where they highlighted the growth of the program and the excitement surrounding the upcoming season. Williams and Hinds highlighted how the trip abroad to Croatia and Greece helped grow the comradery of the team while Coach Gebbia spoke about the improvements to the team and how the team is preparing for the upcoming year.

- Women's Tennis:
- On Oct. 14, it was announced that Wake Forest University and head women's tennis coach Jeff Wyshner have agreed on a long-term contract extension.
- Now in his 15th year at the helm of the women's tennis program, Wyshner has guided the Demon Deacons in winning 20-plus matches twice over the last six seasons while consistently being ranked inside of the top 25 nearly each year.
- Additionally, the Deacs have reached the NCAA tournament for eight consecutive years – being one of just 21 schools to accomplish this feat, as well as one of six ACC institutions to do so.
- From 2020-22, one or more individuals notched All-American status.
- The program jumps back into fall competition this week, set to compete in the ITA Carolina Regional. The event will be hosted by North Carolina from Oct. 17-21.
