Deacs Finish Final Round of Qubein Cup

GREENSBORO, N.C.- The Wake Forest men's golf team wrapped up their final round of the inaugural Qubein Cup, hosted by High Point University at Sedgefield Country Club.
The Deacs fielded two individuals for the tournament, freshman Jorge Hao and junior Boyd Owens.
In his second collegiate outing, Hao finished tied for 26th, ending his tournament at 12-over par. Hao posted his best score in round two, carding a 1-under 69. Heading into Tuesday, Hao was sitting in contention and was tied for 15th.
Owens registered three rounds of 74, 77 and 77 to finish tied for 43rd with a 54-hole score of 18-over par.

The Deacs end their fall slate at the 54th Furman Intercollegiate Men's Golf Tournament, held on Saturday and Sunday, October 19-20, at the Furman University Golf Course.
