WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's basketball jumps back into action on Tuesday (Dec. 17), following a 10-day break from competition, as the team will host James Madison inside Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum for its final non-conference contest of the regular season. Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m. and the game can be viewed on ACC Network Extra.

The Demon Deacons most recently defeated Boston College, 72-66, at home in its Atlantic Coast Conference opener (Dec. 7). The team moved to 4-1 in conference home openers within the Steve Forbes era and now hold a 24-6 record inside LJVM Coliseum against ACC opponents.

Four Deacs reached double figures in points, led by Cameron Hildreth's season-high 22 points. The Worthing, England, native also grabbed 10 rebounds, his best mark of the year, to secure his first double-double of 2024-24. Hildreth also added three assists and two steals to his line.

Freshman guard Juke Harris produced valuable minutes as a reserve, notching a season-high 12 points while swishing in three triples. The Salisbury, North Carolina, native also played just over 30 minutes – his most through the winter thus far.

Holding down the frontcourt, Efton Reid III and Tre'Von Spillers chipped in 11 points apiece, with the latter grabbing nine boards as well. Sitting at 104 total rebounds through 11 games, Spillers continues to pace the Deacs on the rebounding end. His total is good for the third-best mark in the ACC, as the senior forward averages 9.45 per contest.

The Deacons' defense held Boston College to a 36.8 field goal percentage on 21-of-57 shooting for the afternoon. As a team, Wake Forest currently ranks second in the conference in field goal percentage defense, holding opponents to a combined 38.4 clip.
