The Demon Deacons (11-6, 3-1 ACC) dropped the doubles point despite an impressive 6-1 victory on court one from senior Brooke Killingsworth and graduate student Marcella Cruz over Aguiar/Sanchez on court one.

The duo improved to 9-4 in dual play this season and have won four of their last five matches as a pairing. From Coach Wyshner
"We had a very strong performance in singles today. It was a tough doubles point. Credit to BC's second and third doubles, who did good things and created pressure on us. We have to get better in doubles, but our singles was sharp from beginning to end, which is what you want it to be at this point in the season. We've played hard and practiced hard for a couple months so we should be ready to go on match day. Any ACC road win is an accomplishment. We got this one and now we have a humongous match at one of the toughest places to play in the ACC, indoors at Syracuse."
