Wake Remains in the Top Half of the Leaderboard after 36 Holes of Darius Rucker

HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Wake Forest women's golf team will head into Wednesday's final round of play tied with Texas at seven over par.
Three Deacs went even par in the second round, led by Rachel Kuehn off the tee. The senior made the turn one under with a birdie on the par-four 18th and sunk a birdie putt on her final hole of the day to finish even par.
Freshman Brooke Rivers made her turn even, with nine straight pars to start the day. She also birdied her final hole to finish the round with a 71. Her cohort Macy Pate made her second-round turn even par as well, with two birdies to put her back at 35 after two bogeys. She sank a birdie on the par-four 4th hole to close out the day even and two-under for the event.
Pate and Rivers will both enter Wednesday's final round inside the top 20.
Sophomore Anne-Sterre den Dunnen went seven over on the day and will enter the final round five over and outside the top 50.
Wednesday's Final Round
Final round tee times will begin at 9:30 with Wake Forest on the tee starting at 9:30 off the first tee. The Deacs will be paired with Georgia and Texas. Live scoring will be available all day via Golfstat and Golf Channel coverage will begin at 2:30 p.m. ET.
