WILMINGTON, N.C. - The top women's golf team in the Atlantic Coast Conference, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, begin postseason play Thursday (April 18) at ACC Championships in Wilmington at Porters Neck Country Club.
The Deacs are coming off a third-place finish at the Wolfpack Match Play, hosted by NC State, in Raleigh last week. On the week, the Deacs went 11-4 across all three matches. Rivers and Kuehn each played all three matches over two days and went undefeated. Pate and Rhodes also played all three and went 2-1 and 1-2, respectively. Chacarra played two matches and finished 1-1 and Den Dunnen played one and went 1-0.
ACC Championship Format
The event will be played over four days, with three rounds of stroke play over the first three days, Thursday-Saturday, to determine the individual champion and seeding for match play. The top four teams in stroke play will advance to match play to determine a team champion. The semifinal and final matches will take place Sunday, April 21 and will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
For Thursday's first round, Wake Forest tee times will begin at 9:50 a.m. ET and the Deacs will be paired with Duke and Florida State.
Live Coverage
The 2024 ACC Championship semifinal and final matches will stream live on ACC Network Extra beginning at 8:00 a.m. Sunday. Ryan Burr and Suzy Whaley will be on the call for all matches. Coverage of the championship match will begin approximately 60 minutes after the conclusion of the semifinals matches.

Wake Forest will be one of six host sites for the 2024 NCAA Regionals in two weeks at Bermuda Run Country Club, May 6-8. The official NCAA women's golf selection show will be April 24 at 2 p.m. on Golf Channel.
In each regional, 12 teams and six individuals not on those teams will compete. The low five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the finals. Beginning in 2024, regional champion awards will be given to the team champions.
