Demon Deacons Open Season in Puerto Rico, Host 30 Games at David F. Couch Ballpark.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest baseball team announced its 2026 schedule, featuring 30 home games at David F. Couch Ballpark and marquee non-conference matchups alongside a challenging ACC slate.

The Demon Deacons open the new campaign with a three-game tournament in Puerto Rico before returning home for an extended early-season stretch in Winston-Salem.
 
"The 2026 schedule is packed with opportunities to test ourselves against some of the best teams in the country," said head coach Tom Walter. "We've got a veteran group coming back that knows what it takes to compete deep into the postseason. Opening in Puerto Rico will be an incredible experience, and we can't wait to bring that energy back home to The Couch. Our fans make this place special, and we're excited to chase another championship in front of them."
 
Wake Forest begins the season February 13-15 in Puerto Rico with contests against Houston, Washington, and Indiana State. The Deacs then return home for eight of the next nine games highlighted by a weekend series against Siena (Feb. 20-22) and a four-game weekend round-robin featuring Loyola Marymount and Davidson (Feb. 27–Mar. 1).
 
The Deacons will continue their non-conference slate with road trips to UNCG (Feb. 24), App State (Mar. 3), and Coastal Carolina (Mar. 10), while hosting High Point (Feb. 17) and Liberty (Mar. 17).
 
ACC play begins March 6-8 when Wake Forest welcomes Stanford to The Couch. The Deacs will also host Florida State (Mar. 13-15), California (Mar. 27-29), NC State (Apr. 17-19), and Louisville (Apr. 30-May 2) in conference action. Road ACC series include trips to Virginia (Mar. 20-22), Pitt (Apr. 3-5), Miami (Apr. 10-12), Georgia Tech (Apr. 24-26), and Duke (May 14-16).
 
Midweek play will feature several regional opponents, including home dates with Elon (Apr. 7), Coastal Carolina (Apr. 14), UNCG (Apr. 21), and a three-game set against Western Carolina (May 9-10). The Deacs will also play neutral-site and in-state matchups against App State (Apr. 28 in Shelby, N.C.) and road tilts at Elon (Mar. 24), High Point (Mar. 31) and Liberty (May 12). 
 
The Deacons return a talented core from last season's NCAA Tournament team, including All-Americans Kade Lewis and Dalton Wentz, and First Team All-ACC pitcher Blake Morningstar. With proven leadership and a deep roster, Wake Forest once again looks poised to contend for conference and national titles in 2026.

Parking
Back from 2024, parking will be split between The Couch Lot and McCreary Tower Lot. Season ticket holders with parking in The Couch Lot for the 2026 season will have the opportunity to renew their parking in the same location for the upcoming season.
