Flax Named to All-ACC First Team After Career Season

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest senior midfielder Cooper Flax has been named to the 2025 All-ACC First Team, the league office announced Wednesday morning. Flax earned the second All-ACC selection of his career following a standout campaign in which he led the Demon Deacons in both goals and assists.
Flax becomes Wake Forest's 16th First Team honoree since 2015 and continues the program's long tradition of excellence under head coach Bobby Muuss.

Flax finished the regular season with nine goals and seven assists, totaling a team-high 25 points in 17 starts. The senior converted four-for-four on penalty kicks, notched two game-winning goals, and recorded at least one goal contribution in nine different matches, including seven of the last nine.
He ranks top 10 in the ACC in the three major offensive categories, sitting second in total points, third in goals and sixth in assists.

The 2024 All-American has now totaled 21 career goals, moving into a tie for 18th on Wake Forest's all-time scoring list with Geraint Davies (1986-89). He also moved into 20th all-time in career points with 59.
