Deacs to Close Out Regular Season at Notre Dame

Wake Forest will match up with the Fighting Irish for the second time this month.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The final match of the fall 2025 regular season has arrived for Wake Forest volleyball (15-15, 9-10 ACC), as the team will travel to South Bend for a Saturday rematch with Notre Dame (Nov. 29). The afternoon contest gets going at 3 p.m. and live stats will be available.
The Demon Deacons hosted Notre Dame earlier this month (Nov. 7) for their Seniors and Graduates Day, winning the first season meeting in four sets.
Coming off a 3-0 sweep over Duke in its last home appearance, Wake Forest is at nine Atlantic Coast Conference wins – its most since the 2010 season.

Stepping into Varsity Arena for one final time for the regular season, Wake Forest volleyball finished its home slate in style. Facing Big Four rival Duke in a second meeting of the fall, the Demon Deacons took a 3-0 sweep over the Blue Devils.
The program also set a new record of home attendance during the afternoon, as 945 spectators filled up the gym. The mark surpassed the previous attendance record of 866 last season versus Pitt on Nov. 22, 2024.
Wednesday saw the Deacs officially secure a season sweep over Duke for the first time since the 2012 campaign.
The match featured Wake Forest's third Big Four win of fall 2025.
Patrycja Lagida led all individuals with a match-best 12 kills. Paige Crawford chipped in nine kills with 12 digs – the latter being her best total in an ACC contest this season.
Rian Baker went for her sixth double-double of the fall – 11 assists and 12 digs. Becca Bellows contributed 14 assists.
The Deacs did well in their blocking, led by Sanaa Williams' five that resulted as a match high. Sadie Poeck finished with four blocks. Emma Farrell collected eight digs and seven assists.

Three weeks ago (Nov. 7), Wake Forest faced Notre Dame inside Varsity Arena and brought energy from the very start, making plays with great timing to ultimately earn a 3-1 victory over the Fighting Irish.
Paige Crawford enjoyed one of her best performances of the year on the hitting and serving end. The Wimberley, Texas, native posted a line of 17 kills, four service aces and five digs, in addition to a .452 hitting percentage. Her mark in aces tied for a career-best total in a single match.
Two other Deacs joined Crawford as individuals with double-digit kills – Patrycja Lagida (16) and Sadie Poeck (10). Poeck also had three blocks. Making her first start in conference play, Ivana Cvetkovic impressed with a match-high seven blocks – her most of the fall.
Ryleigh Whitekettle contributed nine kills and six blocks. Becca Bellows recorded 27 assists while Rian Baker was just short of a double-double – 15 assists and a match-high nine digs.
The Deacs finished with eight aces and a .355 collective hitting percentage – both being their best totals in a conference match this fall.
