This marked the second-most nods in program history behind only the 2023 season.
CHARLOTTE – Following a 2024 campaign that saw the Demon Deacons reach the first National Championship in program history, 13 members of the Wake Forest women's soccer team were tabbed to the All-ACC Academic Team, as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.
Additionally, 12 of the 13 of the 2024 selections have now landed on the All-ACC Academic team in back-to-back seasons. Senior Emily Colton achieved the feat in all four of her collegiate campaigns.
This also marks the second-most selections in program history after the team earned 20 honorees a season ago.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests to be considered for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team.
