From Gebbia
"Turnovers were the difference in this game and then they made a couple of big shots there at the end. We were just a couple of plays away from getting this one on the road. We fought so hard. We were down 15 and then came back to take the lead. We played 35 minutes of great basketball against a top-20 team on the road which is a good sign of progress but we needed five more minutes to get this one. Tamia led us with seven assists and we had 18 total but the turnovers are really the big negative again. We really need to look at that going into the next one against pressure and in half court. Raegyn and Rylie both played well. Rae had 12 points and eight rebounds and Rylie gave us 20 points which we needed. She really kept us in the game in the second and third quarter. A lot of good things out of this one. We needed to make a few more 50-50 plays especially in crucial situations. This is a sign of progress and now we need to take that into account the must-win game against SMU at our place on Thursday." - Megan Gebbia
