HILTON HEAD, S.C. - After three days of difficult tournament play at Long Cove Club, No. 9 Wake Forest women's golf finished fourth overall amongst a nationally ranked field.
The Demon Deacons kept a consistent slate throughout the tournament and wrapped up the competition with 183 pars, second in the field of 17. As a team, the Deacs shot their best round of three on the final round of play with a score of four-over par.
Paving the way for Wake Forest with a total score of 216 throughout the week was sophomore Macy Pate, who climbed six spots on day three to secure her second top-10 finish of the season.
