Stefan Dostanic, DK Suresh Ekambaram, Luca Pow and Charlie Robertson helped Wake Forest claim the ACC regular season crown this past weekend at NC State.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – For the second time in three weeks, the Wake Forest men's tennis team swept the ACC weekly awards following its title-clinching victory over NC State on Saturday, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon.

The ACC Player of the Week, graduate student Stefan Dostanic, returned to the singles lineup for the first time in a month and picked up where he left off for the Demon Deacons, as he earned a 6-3, 6-3 victory on court one over No. 29 Braden Shick. Dostanic is now 7-2 in a Wake Forest uniform with six of his seven wins coming against ranked opponents.

Of note, it marked Dostanic's first singles win for Wake Forest since his three-set thriller over TCU's Jack Pinnington to clinch the team's second ITA National Indoor Championship back in February. Additionally, it was his second win over Shick this season following his 7-6(4), 7-6(3) win over NC State's No. 1 in the quarterfinals of national indoors. The Irvine, Calif.-native moved up to 13th in the ITA singles rankings Tuesday morning.

After taking the time to adjust to collegiate tennis, standout Charlie Robertson picked up his second ACC Freshman of the Week nod. He has now completely taken over and won six-straight matches to bring his record to 8-6 on the year as he defeated Fons Van Sambeek (6-4, 6-4) on court four to clinch the regular season title.

The Scot has not lost since Feb. 25 and now holds a perfect 5-0 record against ACC opponents. He has quickly become one of the most clutch players in the nation with multiple clinching victories in big matches.

The ACC Doubles Team of the Week honor went to junior DK Suresh Ekambaram and sophomore Luca Pow. Against NC State, the duo moved to 3-0 as a pairing this campaign with a 6-3 victory over No. 7 Shick/Van Sambeek on court one.

The win marked Suresh's team-high 25th doubles win this season as he moved to 11-1 against ranked duos. Additionally, Pow is now second on the team with 18 doubles wins with six coming against ranked opponents. The win clinched Wake Forest's 31st doubles point in 33 matches as the Deacs took a 1-0 lead into singles.

This is the fourth ACC Doubles Team of the Week award for Suresh this season and first alongside Pow.
