GREENSBORO, N.C. - Seeking to defend its 2024 ACC Championship and claim its fourth conference title since 2019, No. 9 Wake Forest women's golf will travel to nearby Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, N.C. for the 2025 ACC Women's Golf Championship.
During the 2024 championship, senior Carolina Chacarra and sophomore Macy Pate were part of the squad that took first place in stroke play to advance to the championship semifinals. The Demon Deacons defeated North Carolina and Clemson in match-play to win the conference title.
Also to note, Wake Forest boasts a strong individual title history with alum Rachel Keuhn securing the individual title in 2024 and Emilia Miglaiccio doing so in 2019.
In the Deacs' last time out as a squad, they recorded a fourth-place finish in a field of 15 at the Charles Schwab Collegiate in Fort Worth, Texas. Most recently, Chacarra and Pate competed at the Augusta National Women's Amateur, where Chacarra shot 210 (-6) through three rounds and placed ninth overall at Augusta National.
