With the win, Blanch improved to 7-5 on the season, while also winning her first singles match since March 2nd against Louisville. Meanwhile, Carton extended her team-lead in singles victories following Wednesday's result, as the Locust, N.J., native now sits at 12-4

From Coach Wyshner
"What an incredible match. Nevena [Carton] was amazing in that third set, even after Charlotte broke her to tie it at 5-5. It didn't phase her at all. Krystal [Blanch] held off two match points to keep us in the match and then pulled away to tie it back up. We had a lot of super gritty performances today, just like we did on Sunday. Everyone played hard. We did a great job coming out fast in doubles and then singles was a long battle. It's very rare to have a nearly four hour match with the current scoring format, especially after a relatively quick doubles point. Really excited for the team. This was a big step towards the postseason." - head coach Jeff Wyshner
