During the 2024 season, the Deacons hosted their own regional at Bermuda Run Country Club in Bermuda Run, N.C.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 7 Wake Forest Women's Golf team has earned a spot in the upcoming NCAA Regionals and will compete as the No. 2 seed at The Rawls Golf Course at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Texas. Hosted by Texas Tech University, the Rawls Course is ranked the No. 2 course in Texas and the No. 3 campus course in the nation, according to Golfweek.

This marks the second time Wake Forest has competed at The Rawls, with their only previous appearance occurring in the 2004-05 season, offering an exciting opportunity for the hungry Deacon squad.

Wake Forest will look to continue their postseason momentum after defeating the No. 1 Stanford Cardinal in the semifinals of the ACC Championship and an incredible match play effort in the championship final against Florida State. Under the leadership of head coach Kim Lewellen,  Wake Forest has finished third or better in their regional appearances, excluding the 2020 tournament, which did not take place due to COVID restrictions.

Regional play will take place May 5-7 at six regional sites, with 396 participants and each site featuring 12 teams and six individuals. The top five teams (30 teams total) and the low individual not on an advancing team (six individuals total) from each regional site will advance to compete in the national championships to be played May 16-21 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California.
