Two Demon Deacons Named to 2024-25 All-ACC Academic Team

Wake Forest has now had 18 All-ACC Academic Team selections under head coach Steve Forbes.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's basketball senior Efton Reid III and sophomore Parker Friedrichsen have been named to the 2024-25 All-ACC Academic Team, the conference announced on Tuesday.
In his five seasons as Wake Forest men's basketball head coach, Steve Forbes has had 18 All-ACC Academic Team selections.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career.
In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests to be considered for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team.
Reid started all 31 of his appearances during the 2024-25 season, averaging 8.8 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. He reached double-figures in scoring 13 times including a career-high 19 points in a victory at Cal. He ranked second on the team in both total blocks (30) and rebounds (204).
Friedrichsen, meanwhile, appeared in 31 games with five starts.
