Opponent History
Florida State leads the all-time series by a 97-38 margin, however the Demon Deacons have taken the series the last two times on the road against the Noles and three of the last four series overall.

Hit Parade
The Demon Deacons have seen productivity up and down the lineup, with all nine hitters in the starting lineup recording a hit in the same game on four occasions through the first 30 contests, doing so against Elon (2/25), Notre Dame (3/7), Coastal Carolina (3/11) and most recently against Virginia Tech (3/29). Wake Forest has already doubled the 2024 squad, which achieved the feat just two times in 60 contests.

Slugging with Stello
Freshman Luke Costello leads the Demon Deacons at the plate over the last five games, going 6-for-13 (.462) with a pair of doubles and his first career home run in a Wake Forest uniform. In his first start at Elon, Costello put together the first multi-hit game of his career, finishing 3-for-4 with a lead-off double down the left field line to start the fourth inning and had a team-high three runs scored on the evening. He followed the performance by launching his first career homer against Virginia Tech in the middle game of the series and roped an RBI double against High Point on Tuesday.

Woah Nelly
Returning from a broken finger during the early part of spring camp, sophomore Cam Nelson has been a welcomed addition to the lineup. Nelson added three hits and three RBI in the leadoff spot against High Point, including a two-RBI double as part of a five-run sixth inning for the Deacs. In his first start of the year against Virginia Tech, the outfielder had a pair of singles roped into center field to go along with a sacrifice bunt and a walk.
