
Wake Forest Men’s and Women’s Soccer Announces 2025 Fan Fest

The women’s squad opens its season against conference opponent SMU on Aug. 14, while the men face Big 10 opponent Maryland on Aug. 21.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - With less than two months away until the 2025 season, the Wake Forest men's and women's soccer teams are excited to announce the return of Fan Fest on Sunday, July 27 from 5-7 p.m. at Spry Stadium.
This preseason opportunity is a free event, open to all members of the public and features fun and games for all ages including: inflatables, giant lawn games and food trucks.
Demon Deacon fans will have the chance to get autographs and meet with athletes of the 2025 ACC Men's Soccer champions and the reigning National finalist women's soccer teams. Members of the Jr. Deacs kids' club will have early access to Sunday's activities starting at 4:30 p.m., and those interested in signing up for the upcoming season can register or renew their membership starting July 1.

Women's Soccer 2024 Season Highlights
- Last season, the Wake Forest women's soccer team advanced to the College Cup for the second time in program history, with the first coming in 2011.
- It also marked Wake Forest's 23rd appearance in the NCAA Tournament, with 22 of them coming under the helm of Tony da Luz.
- Five members of the Wake Forest women's soccer team were selected for 2024 All-ACC honors, headlined by a First-Team selection for junior forward Caiya Hanks.
- Spry has almost guaranteed results for the Demon Deacons over the last three seasons, as Wake Forest has posted a stellar 18-3-6 record at home since the start of 2022.
- Wake Forest finished the 2024 season with a 9-1-1 mark at Spry.
- Before the loss to Duke earlier this year, the Demon Deacons held the program record for longest home unbeaten streak at 15 matches.
- Wake Forest finished with 22 points in ACC play as it finished second in the ACC, tied for the best finish in program history.
- The Demon Deacons were ranked No. 3 in the United Soccer Coaches Poll. This season, they were ranked as high as No. 2, the highest ranking in program history.
Men's Soccer 2024 Season Highlights
- The Demon Deacons claimed their fourth ACC Championship and third under 10th-year head coach Bobby Muuss in a thrilling 7-6 PK result against Clemson on Nov. 17. This came after Wake Forest opened the ACC Tournament with a comeback victory against Syracuse, erasing a late 2-0 deficit against SMU to advance in PKs and then tallying the largest victory over Virginia in program history with a 5-1 result in the semifinals.
- Between September and October, the Demon Deacons rattled off a seven-match unbeaten stretch with ACC victories over Syracuse, Boston College and Virginia Tech along with non-conference wins against ETSU and UNCW. During that stretch, Wake Forest also recorded 0-0 draws with Wofford and then-No. 16 Duke.
- Wake Forest extended its conference-best mark for ACC regular season victories since 2015 to 55 with four wins this season. The Deacs' 55 ACC regular season victories are nine more than any other program.
- The Demon Deacons will be the only program with more than 100 home victories since the start of the 2015 season, finishing the 2024 campaign with nine wins at Spry.
- The Deacs' 152 victories over the last decade are also most in the country, trailing by Indiana (145) and Clemson (141).
