Haberer Earns Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar Honors

Additionally, Haberer earned academic honors from the ACC for the second consecutive year.

NORMAN, Okla. – Rising junior Tom Haberer was named 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar, as announced by the GCAA on Tuesday.

556 NCAA Division I athletes from 190 schools earned 2024-25 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors.

Haberer carded a final round 67 (-3) at the NCAA Amherst Regional tying his lowest score of his collegiate career, and claimed his seventh top-25 finish of the season. Haberer had his season best finish at the Lyon's Links Invitational, tying for sixth.  

In his second postseason appearance, the German carded a bogey-free 69 (-3) in round two of the ACC Championship to find himself a top-25 finish at one-over. 

Haberer ended his sophomore season with a season scoring average of 72.73.

To be eligible for Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar nomination, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA, or receiving their associate's degree and in their last year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50% of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2.
