Brennan picks up his second win in his last three starts at the CRMC Championship presented by Northern Pacific Center

BRAINERD, Minn.- Wake Forest men's golf alum Michael Brennan secured his second win of the season with an impressive final round 8-under 63 at the CRMC Championship on Sunday, rallying from a four-shot deficit to defeat Derek Hitchner on the first playoff hole.

With the win, Brennan is now one victory away from a three-victory promotion, which would grant him exempt status on the Korn Ferry Tour in 2026.

Brennan's Dominant 2025 Season

Now leading multiple statistical categories on PGA TOUR Americas, Brennan's second win strengthens his lead in the Fortinet Cup standings, sitting in first place.

Since finishing No. 12 in the PGA TOUR University Class of 2024, Brennan has made the cut in 14 consecutive events, holding the longest active streak on PGA TOUR Americas dating back to the 2024 Fortinet Cup Championship.

Brennan leads all players with nine top-10 finishes during the 2025 season. In total, he has earned 14 top-10 finishes in 23 career PGA TOUR Americas starts, with 12 of those coming in his last 17 appearances since the 2024 season.

Brennan's First Professional Win

Michael Brennan fired a final-round 6-under 64 to secure a five-shot victory at the BioSteel Championship, earning his first professional win and climbing to No. 1 on the Fortinet Cup points list.

Additionally, this marks the largest margin (-25) on PGA TOUR Americas since 2024, and the first wire-to-wire winner on PGA TOUR Americas in 2025.

Starting the day with a four-stroke advantage, Brennan saw his lead narrow to just one at the turn. However, he responded with a clutch performance on the back nine, carding five birdies for a closing 5-under 30.

Across four rounds, Brennan led the field in eagles made and recorded the second-most birdies, while making just two bogeys—tied for the fewest of any player that week.
