  • Field Hockey: 
    • Winners of seven-straight, including three in a row over top-15 opponents, the No. 7 Wake Forest field hockey team continues ACC play on Friday at Louisville. Push back is set for 6:30 p.m. ET on the ACC Network.  
    • In the last three games, the Demon Deacons have defeated No. 2 North Carolina, No. 4 Syracuse and No. 13 Boston College. 
      • Additionally, this marks the first time since the 2015 season that the Demon Deacons have opened conference play at 3-0 or better.
  • Women's Soccer: 
    • The Demon Deacons remained undefeated in ACC play with a thrilling 3-2 victory over top-10 Duke last Thursday. 
      • Despite going down 2-1 in the 65th minute, Wake Forest responded with two goals in 127 seconds including the game-winning strike from Hannah Johnson in the 72nd minute. 
    • At 3-0-1 in conference action, the Deacs will once again travel for a Big Four showdown on Thursday evening at NC State. 
      • Kick-off for the contest is scheduled for 7 p.m. and the match will air nationally on the ACC Network. 
  • Volleyball: 
    • The Demon Deacons will hold their ACC home opener this Friday inside Varsity Arena, facing the Florida State Seminoles. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m.
    • On Sunday, Wake Forest will host No. 22 Miami in a 1 p.m. contest. 
    • The Deacs are coming off their first conference victory of the fall, downing Duke through four sets in a road matchup.
      • The win marked Wake Forest's first inside Cameron Indoor Stadium since Oct. 16, 2012.
    • Through five weeks of the regular season, the Deacs rank fourth in the league in assists (12.55 per set).
  • Cross Country: 
    • The Demon Deacons placed 10th at the Gans Creek Classic last Friday, spearheaded by a fourth place finish from junior Angelina Perez.
      • The Ringwood, N.J., native crossed the line with a personal-best time of 19:17.8, making her the fastest American finisher in the race.
        • Perez has now secured two top five finishes through the first two meets this season, having claimed her first career individual title at the Queen City Invite (9/12).
      • Two other Deacs finished inside the top-50, as senior Elizabeth Whaley recorded a time of 20:09.9 to place 40th, while junior Brooke Wilson clocked a 20:15.6 to claim 45th-place.
    • Wake Forest returns to competition this Friday at the Spartan Classic in Kernersville, with the women's team racing at 5:45 p.m.
  • Track and Field
    • Junior Samantha Heyison is currently representing Team USA at the 2025 Para World Championships in New Delhi, India from Sept. 27 to Oct. 5.
