- Women's Soccer:
- The No. 3 Demon Deacons continued its perfect start to the season as they secured a 1-0 win over No. 10 Virginia in their ACC opener on Saturday night at Spry Stadium.
- Sophomore Kylie Maxwell netted the lone goal of the match in the 37th minute, marking her third goal of the season.
- Redshirt junior goalkeeper Valentina Amaral tallied three saves as she recorded her fifth shutout of the season.
- The Deacs return to action with a pair of road games in California.
- Wake Forest opens its road trip against Cal on Thursday at 7 p.m.
- The Demon Deacons will close their trip with a top-five match against No. 1 Stanford on Sunday at 4 p.m.
- The No. 3 Demon Deacons continued its perfect start to the season as they secured a 1-0 win over No. 10 Virginia in their ACC opener on Saturday night at Spry Stadium.
- Field Hockey:
- The No. 6 Demon Deacons tallied 13 goals over their two games this past week as they moved to 4-1 on the season.
- The Demon Deacons closed out its opening four-game homestand with a 7-0 win over VCU on Friday.
- Freshman Bianca Rees-Gibbs notched her first career hat trick against the Rams.
- Senior Faye Janse logged her first two goals of the season, while fellow senior Ava Moore added her fourth goal of the season in the win.
- Wake Forest concluded its weekend with a 6-0 victory over App State on Sunday in their first road test of the season.
- Three Demon Deacons scored two goals against the Mountaineers.
- Rees-Gibbs continued her stellar weekend as she tallied her sixth and seventh goals of the campaign.
- Moore notched two more goals to bring her season total to six.
- Senior midfielder Mia Schoenbeck recorded her first two goals of the season.

- Women's Golf:
- The No. 7 Deacs opened their 2026-27 season by defending their team title at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate.
- The Demon Deacons finished the tournament at 24-under-par, 10 strokes better than the second-place team.
- Notably, Wake Forest shot 12-under-par during the second round.
- Three Deacs finished inside the top five individually.
- Junior Chloe Kovelesky recorded a second-place finish as she posted a score of eight-under-par.
- Freshman Havanna Torstensson notched a score of seven-under-par to place third in her collegiate debut.
- Senior Macy Pate rounded out the top five as she logged a score of two-under-par.
- The Demon Deacons finished the tournament at 24-under-par, 10 strokes better than the second-place team.
- The Demon Deacons are back in action this week as they look to repeat as team champions at the Jackson T. Stephens Cup.
- The No. 7 Deacs opened their 2026-27 season by defending their team title at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate.
- Volleyball:
- The Demon Deacons closed out their home nonconference slate as they hosted East Carolina, Georgia Southern and ETSU at the DEACTOWN Invitational.
- After dropping their opening match to ECU, the Deacs returned to the win column with a five-set win over Georgia Southern on Saturday.
- Four Demon Deacons recorded double-digit kills against the Eagles, led by freshman Lyla Stewart's career-high 18 kills.
- Freshmen Emma Keeping and Ava Roddey both logged double-doubles in the win, with Keeping tallying 37 assists and 12 digs and Roddey adding 24 assists and 19 digs.
- The Demon Deacons won another five-set match on Sunday as they defeated ETSU to win the DEACTOWN Invitational.
- Graduate student Ryleigh Whitekettle recorded a season-high 19 kills against the Buccaneers.
- The Topsail Beach, N.C., native finished the tournament with 48 kills, helping her DEACTOWN Invitational MVP honors.
- Senior libero also garnered All-Tournament honors as she tallied 15 digs in the win, bringing her total to 56 digs over the three-match tournament.
- Graduate student Ryleigh Whitekettle recorded a season-high 19 kills against the Buccaneers.

- Wake Forest opened its fall slate this past weekend as four Demon Deacons competed in the 39th annual Debbie Southern Furman Fall Classic.
- In total, the Deacs combined for 10 wins across singles and doubles action.
- Senior Aubrey Nisbet led the Demon Deacons as she tallied five wins over the three-day tournament, headlined by winning a doubles title alongside freshman Lillian Santos.

- Junior Grace Wassell recorded a time of 17:36.3 to place 17th, freshman Melia Kupchanko finished in 19th, sophomore Charlotte Tuxbury came in 20th and freshman Emily Cohen placed 25th to round out the top five.
- Five Deacs finished inside the top-25 during the race, with freshman Julia Score posting a 15th-place finish after clocking a time of 17:29.7.
