
Wake Forest Faces No. 17 North Carolina on Saturday Night

The Demon Deacons will be making their first appearance at the Dean E. Smith Center since Jan. 22, 2024.
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Wake Forest men's basketball will face its fourth top-20 opponent of the season on Saturday night, as the Demon Deacons will match up with No. 17 North Carolina at the Dean E. Smith Center.
Tip-off for the contest is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will air nationwide on the ACC Network.

The Demon Deacons dropped a back-and-forth contest against a 13-2 Miami squad by the final of 81-77.
Sophomore guard Juke Harris led the Demon Deacons with 28 points as he went 9-of-15 from the field, including going 4-of-8 from three-point range. He has now scored 20-or-more points six times this season.
Coming off of a season-best scoring performance against Virginia Tech, senior guard Nate Calmese continued to make plays on the offensive end as he totaled 19 points on 8-of-13 shooting while also recording four assists and two rebounds.
Junior guard Myles Colvin added 13 points, three rebounds, three assists and three steals while playing 37 minutes. Meanwhile, senior forward Tre'Von Spillers tallied four points and a team-best eight rebounds to go along with four assists.
Offensively, the Deacs had their best three-point shooting game of the season as they went 11-of-21 (52.4 percent) from range. Overall, the Demon Deacons shot the ball at a 51.9 percent clip, connecting on 28 of their 54 field goal attempts.

Sophomore guard Juke Harris continues to pace the Demon Deacons in scoring this season, as he's reached a double-digit scoring total in all 16 games while ranking tied for fifth in the ACC in points per game (19.9).
After averaging 6.1 points per game as a freshman, Harris' 13.8 points per game this year ranks as the fourth-highest increase year-over-year in the nation.
Additionally, Harris is one of only five ACC players – and one of just 15 nationally – averaging 19 points and 6 rebounds per game this season, joining Duke's Cameron Boozer, Miami's Malik Reneau, North Carolina's Caleb Wilson and Syracuse's Donnie Freeman.
