How It Happened
Stats of the Game
Key Moment
"I knew we had to play with great energy today because I knew that Georgia Tech would be a little tired after traveling to play both Cal and Stanford. I thought they did a good job of battling in the first half. I thought we turned the game in the second half. We started the second half with seven consecutive stops on defense. That kind of opened up the lead, and then we never looked back. I thought we had great ball movement on offense. We had 19 assists on 28 baskets. The ball was moving. Mekhi Mason had a big game for us off the bench. He was a starter earlier in the year and he's struggled a little bit, but he's had great resilience and he's been a great teammate. Good things happen to good people, and he played well today. Juke Harris is going to be Juke. He had 23 points, 13 rebounds, three assists and no turnovers. He's a pretty good player. I understand the fatigue factor of coming off that trip to California, and they looked tired. We had to take advantage of that and we did."- head coach Steve Forbes
