Wake Forest, Stanford Meet in Saturday Showdown at LJVM Coliseum

The Demon Deacons are coming off a 16-point victory over Georgia Tech on Wednesday evening.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's basketball returns to LJVM Coliseum this weekend to host Stanford in the program's 12th ACC game of the regular season.
Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m. and the matchup will air nationally on the ACC Network.
Last Time Out
Fueled by a team-wide effort with 13 threes on 46 percent shooting from behind the three-point arc, the Demon Deacons defeated Georgia Tech by a final of 83-67 on Wednesday evening at McCamish Pavilion.
Four Deacs reached double figures against the Yellow Jackets, led by sophomore guard Juke Harris' 23 points on 9-of-18 shooting. The Salisbury, N.C., native also recorded a career-high 13 rebounds to give him his second-consecutive double-double, as well as three assists.
Senior guard Mekhi Mason had one of his best offensive performances of the season, finishing the game with 17 points off the bench while going 5-of-7 from the field, including 4-of-6 from beyond the arc. The Gilbert, Ariz., native also logged four assists, two rebounds, a block and a steal.
Senior forward Tre'Von Spillers added 13 points on an efficient 5-of-7 shooting performance, while also recording four rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal. Meanwhile, junior forward Cooper Schwieger totaled a season-best 13 points to go along with three rebounds, two steals, an assist and a block.
With the victory, Steve Forbes earned his 400th career win as head coach (Division I and Junior College levels).

Wake Forest's 50 total wins in ACC play since the beginning of the 2021-22 season are fifth-most in the conference during that span.

Sophomore guard Juke Harris continues to pace the Demon Deacons in scoring this season, as he's reached a double-digit scoring total in all 24 games while ranking third in the ACC in points per game (21.2).
After averaging 6.1 points per game as a freshman, Harris' 15.1 points per game increase this year is the highest increase year-over-year in the nation.
Additionally, Harris is one of only two ACC players – and one of just five nationally – averaging 21 points and 6 rebounds per game this season, joining Duke's Cameron Boozer.

This week he earned his second ACC Rookie of the Week selection of the season after scoring a freshman program-record 40 points against Georgia Tech.
