Wake Forest Places 14 on All-ACC Indoor Track and Field Academic Team

The men’s and women’s teams placed seven athletes each on the All-ACC Academic team.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Fourteen members of the Wake Forest track and field team were named to the All-ACC Academic Team for the 2025-26 indoor track and field season, as announced by the league office Friday afternoon.
Both the men's and women's teams placed seven athletes on the All-ACC Academic Team. Additionally, senior Paul Specht earned his third career All-ACC Academic Team honor, while senior Elizabeth Whaley; juniors Hunter Jones, Seren Rodgers, Wes Shipsey and Brooke Wilson; and sophomore Foster Shelbert earned their second career honors.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Track and Field Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average (GPA) for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during a student athlete's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must have competed in the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships and/or the NCAA Championships during the 2025 season.
