Game Promotions and Giveaways Announced for 2026 Volleyball Season

Exciting opportunities await at Varsity Arena this season including the annual Heather Kahl Holmes Breast Cancer Match against Syracuse on Oct. 11.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Get excited, Deacon Nation! With the 2026 Wake Forest volleyball season less than a month away, game promotions and special giveaways are set so members of the Winston-Salem & Triad communities can make their plans for months ahead.
Of note, the Demon Deacons will host the annual Heather Kahl Holmes Breast Cancer Match against Syracuse on Oct. 11, as well as the We Are Wake game on Nov. 1 against SMU.
The Deacs will welcome alumni as part of Alumni weekend festivities as Wake Forest hosts Davidson, UCF and Georgetown from Sept. 4-6.

Join in On the Fun This Fall
The Demon Deacons recently announced its complete 2026 fall schedule, competing in 17 home contests, including 10 against ACC opponents. Wake Forest will also be hosting Mississippi State as part of the ACC-SEC Challenge on Sept. 8.
Limited reserved courtside season tickets are still available and can be purchased for $150 by calling the Wake Forest Ticket Office at (336) 758-3322. All other seating is general admission and free to the public.
Wake Forest Volleyball Overview
The Demon Deacons enter their 47th season in program history this fall, with nine players set to return. The Deacs are led by a veteran group of four seniors – Elena Dragani, Patricija Lagida, Ryleigh Whitekettle and Sanaa Williams. Becca Bellows and Dhru Lalaji are set to return for their third seasons with the Deacs, while Kelis Hawkin and Sadie Poeck enter their sophomore years.
Head coach Jeff Hulsmeyer returns for his second season at Wake Forest, having led Wake Forest to 15 wins, including nine conference victories, the most since the 2010 season. The Deacs also posted eight wins inside Varsity Arena, the most home wins in a season since 2022.
