The Demon Deacons visit the Aggies on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 5:30 p.m., before taking on the Terriers on Friday, Sept. 18, at 4 p.m. at High Point.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – After concluding a seven-match homestand, the Wake Forest volleyball team is primed for its final nonconference matches of the season as the Demon Deacons hit the road to face NC A&T and Wofford.

The Demon Deacons travel to Greensboro, N.C., to face the Aggies on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 5:30 p.m. at Moore Gymnasium, with the match being streamed live on FloSports.

The Deacs will conclude their nonconference slate against the Terriers on Friday, Sept. 18, at 4 p.m. in a neutral-site match at the Millis Center at High Point. The match will also be streamed live on ESPN+.

Last Time Out

The Demon Deacons closed out their home nonconference slate as they hosted East Carolina, Georgia Southern and ETSU at the DEACTOWN Invitational.
- After dropping their opening match to ECU, the Deacs returned to the win column with a five-set win over Georgia Southern on Saturday.
  - Four Demon Deacons recorded double-digit kills against the Eagles, led by freshman Lyla Stewart's career-high 18 kills.
  - Freshmen Emma Keeping and Ava Roddey both logged double-doubles in the win, with Keeping tallying 37 assists and 12 digs and Roddey adding 24 assists and 19 digs.
- The Demon Deacons won another five-set match on Sunday as they defeated ETSU to win the DEACTOWN Invitational.
  - Graduate student Ryleigh Whitekettle recorded a season-high 19 kills against the Buccaneers.
    - The Topsail Beach, N.C., native finished the tournament with 48 kills, helping her earn DEACTOWN Invitational MVP honors.
  - Senior libero Andrea Roman also garnered All-Tournament honors as she tallied 15 digs in the win, bringing her total to 56 digs over the three-match tournament.

Five-Set Specialists
All four of the Demon Deacons' wins this season have come in five-set matches. Overall, the Deacs sit at 4-1 in five-set matches this season, including back-to-back five-set wins over Georgia Southern and ETSU this past weekend at the DEACTOWN Invitational.

Hammering it Home
Graduate student Ryleigh Whitekettle has been on a stellar run to open the season, having recorded a team-high 111 kills (2.78/set) this season. The Topsail Beach, N.C., native has recorded three consecutive matches with double-digit kills and six matches overall, including a season-high 19 kills against ETSU.

Scouting the Aggies

NC A&T enters Thursday's match with a 5-4 record, including wins over App State and Furman.
The Aggies are led by junior Tyne Ross, who has tallied 137 kills (4.03/set) over the first nine matches this season.
- Ross has recorded double-digit kills in all nine matches, including a season-high 21 kills against App State.
- The Cameron, N.C., native also leads the Aggies in digs with 76 digs, and has recorded 18 blocks.
Freshman Kirsten Kemper and junior Charlie Meadoweal have combined for 345 assists this season.
- Kemper leads the team with 223 assists and is currently averaging 6.56 assists per set, which ranks sixth in the CAA.
Six Aggies have tallied 10 or more blocks this season, led by junior Luca Radnai's 20 total blocks.

Scouting the Terriers

Wofford enters this weekend with a 6-3 record that features a 3-1 win over Clemson.
Three Terriers have tallied more than 100 kills this season.
- Junior Chloe Smith leads the team with 121 kills and is currently averaging 3.46 kills per set.
  - Smith has logged 49 kills in her last three matches, including 21 against South Carolina last weekend, helping her earn SoCon Offensive Player of the Week honors.
- Senior Natalie Arnold has notched 105 kills on the year, while junior Bradley Brown has added 101 kills.
Senior Taylor Pecht has recorded 208 assists this season, while junior Maddy Frazier has added 173 assists.
Senior Laney Kilka leads the SoCon with 186 digs (5.31 per set) this season.
- Kilka tallied 67 digs this past weekend, helping her earn SoCon Defensive Player of the Week honors.
