Wake Forest Set for ITA Men’s All-American Championships

Seven Demon Deacons will search for qualification to the NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships taking place later this fall.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - In the first collegiate event of the 2026 fall slate, the Wake Forest men's tennis team is set to compete at the 2026 ITA Men's All-American Championships, held Sept. 19-27 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Demon Deacons will be represented by seven singles players across the pre-qualifying, qualifying and main draw and will also field two doubles teams at the event.
Luca Pow will lead the Demon Deacons with an automatic berth into the singles main draw, while Aryan Shah, Joaquin Guilleme, Dominick Mosejczuk and Kacper Szymkowiak will battle through the qualifying stages. Newcomer Emanuel Ivanišević and Cornelius Shalmi will begin play in pre-qualifying.
In doubles, Pow and Shah will compete in the main draw, while Mosejczuk and Ivanišević will begin in pre-qualifying
The ITA Men's All-American Championships feature 64-player main draws in singles and 32-team main draws in doubles. Ten singles players will earn qualification to the NCAA Singles Championship through the event, with eight spots going to the main-draw quarterfinalists and two to feed-in consolation finalists.
Five doubles teams will also qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship, with spots awarded to the four main-draw semifinalists and the consolation champion.
Wake Forest will look to claim its first ITA Men's All-American Championships singles title since Petros Chrysochos won the event in 2016.
