Had a stellar freshman track campaign that culminated in Second Team All-America honors…Took 16th at the NCAA Championships with a season-best time of 33:52.69, good for fourth on the WF performers list…Finished seventh in the 10k at the NCAA East Prelim to become Wake Forest’s first NCAA Championship qualifier in the 10k since 2005…Took ninth in the 5k at the ACC Championships, just one spot shy of earning All-ACC honors…Took 10th in the 5k at the Virginia Challenge with a season-best time of 16:20.41…Also competed at the WF Outdoor Opener and Raleigh Relays.

Finished 17th in the 3000m at the ACC Championships…Took seventh in the 3000m at the Music City Challenge.

High School
Was a four-time All-League selection in cross country and earned three All-County honors while at Ridgewood High School... Halvorsen was once named Second Team All-State and also earned Third Team All-State accolades... She was once named to the Second Team All-Northeast Nike Regionals team... Halvorsen earned a total of nine letters in high schools (4 cross country, 2 winter track, 3 spring track)... In track she earned All-League honors in winter track twice and All-County honors in spring track once.
Personal
Daughter of Deanne and Mitch Halvorsen... Has one sister, Maya, and one brother, Sean... Majoring in English... Her godbrother and cousin, Rodolpho Crispin, ran cross country and track at the University of New Hampshire from 2003-2007.
