Career Results
Third team All-ACC after finishing 19th at the ACC Championship at Virginia Tech . . . Earned All-Region honors with 14th place finish at NCAA Southeast Regional (11/15) … Was Wake Forest’s top finisher at the NCAA Regional and the Nuttycombe Invitational (10/19) in Wisconsin … Posted the team’s best time for a 6K race with a 20:30.9 at the NCAA Regional.
2018 (Junior)
Followed up her sophomore campaign with another impressive streak; competed in four races for the Deacs; finished 8th at the Coast-to-Coast Battle in Beantown; After a top-20 finish at Regionals in 2017, she broke into the top-10 in 2018 with a 9th-place finish at the Regional Championships with a 6k time of 20:17.1 in Rock Hill, S.C.
2017 (Sophomore)
Had a breakout season that culminated in both All-ACC and All-Region honors...Competed in five meets for the Deacs, pacing the team in all but one of them as well as placing in the top 50 at each meet ...Finished 20th at the NCAA Southeast Regional, an improvement from 31st last season, and earned All-Region honors...Finished 14th at the ACC Championships en route to All-ACC honors and leading the Deacs to their best team finish since 2008...Finished 30th at the Paul Short Run and 47th at Pre Nationals...Also competed at the adidas XC Challenge where she finished 31st.
2016 (Freshman)
Competed in four meets her freshman season, highlighted by a 31st place finish at the NCAA Southeast Regional...Took 33rd at the ACC Championships with a season-best  6K time of 21:04.9...Was the third Deac and 16th overall at the Pre-National Invitational...Opened the season with a 26th place finish at the adidas XC Challenge.
High School
Was a four-time All-League selection in cross country and earned three All-County honors while at Ridgewood High School... Halvorsen was once named Second Team All-State and also earned Third Team All-State accolades... She was once named to the Second Team All-Northeast Nike Regionals team... Halvorsen earned a total of nine letters in high schools (4 cross country, 2 winter track, 3 spring track)... In track she earned All-League honors in winter track twice and All-County honors in spring track once.

Daughter of Deanne and Mitch Halvorsen... Has one sister, Maya, and one brother, Sean... Considering a political science degree... Her godbrother and cousin, Rodolpho Crispin, ran cross country and track at the University of New Hampshire from 2003-2007.
