Jeremy Feldman is entering his third season with the Demon Deacons in 2015-16 and his second as an assistant coach.
Feldman is in his second stint as an assistant under head coach Tony Bresky, as he was initially hired prior to the 2012-13 season as the volunteer assistant coach. After one season with the Demon Deacons, he left the program for Denver, where he served as an assistant coach for the 2013-14 season that saw Denver reach the NCAA Championship. Following the campaign, he returned to Wake Forest as Bresky's top assistant.
Since returning to Wake Forest, Feldman has helped the program reach historic new heights. During the 2015 spring season, Wake Forest set a program record with 24 victories while reaching the Sweet 16 for just the third time in program history. Feldman helped with the guidance of Noah Rubin, who was named ITA National Rookie, ACC Player and ACC Rookie of the Year at season's end. Rubin also made a run to the NCAA Singles Championship title match, but ultimately fell in three sets to Virginia's Ryan Shane. Feldman also coached three All-ACC honorees and two All-Americans -- Rubin and Romain Bogaerts. For Feldman's efforts throughout the season, he was named the ITA Carolina Region Assistant Coach of the Year.
In his first stint at Wake Forest during the 2012-13 season, Feldman helped engineer one of the biggest turnarounds in college tennis that season. Ranked No. 66 in the nation in the preseason ITA poll, the Demon Deacons posted a 20-9 record and made a run to the finals of the ACC Tournament, finishing at No. 19 in the national rankings. Under his guidance, three Demon Deacons earned All-ACC honors.
During his lone season at Denver throughout 2013-14, Feldman helped the Pioneers qualify for the NCAA Team, Singles and Doubles Championships for just the second time in school history. Denver was ranked as high as No. 52 nationally in the ITA Rankings and had players take home Summit League Player and Rookie of the Year honors.
At both Wake Forest and Denver, Feldman has served as the program's liaison for support staff and other organizations on campus, helping to organize community outreach events and assisting with promotions to attract fans to matches.
Feldman was a standout player at Cornell, where he played for Bresky. While at Cornell, Feldman served as a captain twice and played as high as No. 1 doubles and No. 3 singles. He won the clinching match to helping lead the Big Red to its first-ever Ivy League championship in 2011.
The Armonk, New York, native graduated from Cornell in 2011 with a degree in economics and spent a year after graduation working for Nomura Securities in New York as a fixed income trader before beginning his coaching career.
