Threw the javelin in six meets…Opened the season by claiming the title at the Wake Forest Outdoor Opener…Finished second at the Raleigh Relays…Took fourth at the Virginia Challenge…Threw a career-best 66.41m (217-10) at the Penn Relays, good for second in the unseeded division…Earned Second Team All-ACC honors at the ACC Championships after finishing fifth…Took 16th in the NCAA East Preliminary Round, a large improvement from 37th last season.

Had a successful freshman outdoor season that was capped with a 37th place finish at the NCAA East Preliminary...Earned First Team All-ACC honors after finishing third in the javelin at the ACC Championships with a career-best mark of 64.37m...Competed in seven meets...Won the title at the Tennessee Challenge and finished fourth at the Charlotte Invitational...Earned All-ACC Academic Team honors.

Ran the 60m dash at the JDL Team Challenge where he finished 23rd.
