Track: Outdoor: 2007: Had a season best 1500m performance of 4:27.30 at the Duke Twlight Invitational... placed second in the 3000m event at the Wake Forest Open with a 9:50.80... opened the season with a second place finish at the Charlotte 49ers Invitational with a 4:33.98 1500m performance.
2006: Placed 15th in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:31.20 at the NCAA East Regionals... finished 11th in the prelims of the 1,500-meter run in a time of 4:31.32 at the ACC Championships, qualifying for the finals... finished sixth in the finals of the event in a time of 4:25.22... had a seasonal-best time of 9:45.1 in the 3,000-meter run at the Duke Invitational.
Indoor: 2007: Did not compete.
2006: Ran the opening leg of the fifth-place finishing distance medley relay at the ACC Championships (11:04.08)... had the team[apos]s top time in the 800-meter run (2:12.8) and the mile (4:49.9).
Cross Country: 2007: Led the team in the Wake Forest Relays with a 17:15 mark placing second overall individually and as a team with partner Jessica Barton to help solidify the WFU win... helped lead the team to a fourth place finish at the Boston College Invitational placing 20th in 18:03... finished the 6k Bill Dellinger Invitational in 20:49 to place 14th out of 141 runners... led Wake to a fifth place finish out of 25 teams at the 6k Penn State National Invite with a time of 21:33, placing 14th overall.... placed fifteenth overall at the ACC Championships and led Wake Forest to a seventh place finish with a time of 21:41.
2006: Competed in three meets... placed 41st overall and third on the team at the ACC Championships (22:46.0)... finished 152nd overall and fourth on the team at the Pre-NCAA Invitatio
al (22:08).
2005: Captured the individual title at the Wake Forest Relays ... was named the ACC Performer of the Week for her efforts ... came in 37th at the Notre Dame Invitational ... finished in 25th at the ACC Championships ... at the NCAA Championships, finished 69th, marking the second best Deacon finish in the race.
Background: A member of the honor society at Pope John Paul II High School in Delray Beach, Fla... a 10-time state champion in cross country (2003-04), mile (2003-05), two mile (2003-05), 4x800 (2004), and team cross country title in 2004 ... owns a personal best 4:50.00 in the mile and 10:27 in the two mile ... will run the mile and the 3k for Wake... born Oct. 30, 1986... daughter of Ken and Jane Schappert.
