Women's Cross Country Takes Second In Lehigh Invitational

LEHIGH, Pa. - Senior Janelle Kraus lead the Deacon runners to second place in the 26th Lehigh University Paul Short Run on Saturday, October 9 at Lehigh University. Kraus captured third place in the 3,000 meter race with a time of 17:15. Junior Kelly Brady and senior Jill Snyder also lead Wake Forest, capturing 11th and 12th place, respectively. Brady finsihed the race in 17:43.13, while Snyder was close behind with a time of 17:43.85.
Georgetown University captured first place in the race with 39 points, while Wake garnered 75 points, good for second.
The women's cross country team will next be in action October 16 at the Pre-NCAA meet in Bloomington, Ind.
